Junior Doe Kids 0-6 months
1st Place - Mill Creek Millie - Owned by Amy Lyons
Millie is a young doe that is showing a lot of body capacity. She is wide in her chest floor with a good extension in her pro-sternum and she is wide across her shoulders back to her hips when viewed from the top. She has overall muscling with a good development in her brisket. She is showing outstanding width in her escutcheon for carrying a future udder with good width between her hocks. A straighter top line in the area of her loin would make this doe even more correct. She places over Marika for her width in the rear as well as the greater extension of her pro sternum.
2nd Place - Sovereign Hill Marika - Owned by Kathrin Bateman
Marika is another doe showing a lot of body capacity with good depth at her heart girth back into her barrel. She is wide across her shoulders back to her hips when viewed from the top. She appears to be smoothly blended from her neck into her shoulders and has a strong top line. Greater extension of her pro sternum and more width between her hocks would make this doe even more correct. She stands over Aoife at this point in her development due to her greater depth in the heart girth back into her barrel and for her stronger top line in the area of the chine.
3rd Place - Redstone Castle Kinders Aoife - Owned by Gail Stuart
Aoife is a doe showing heavy bone and good muscling at her age. She is very balanced with good width in the chest floor and in her rear between her hocks. She is showing more meat character in a shorter more muscular neck. Greater extension of her pro sternum and a straighter top line in the area of the chine would make this doe even more correct. She places over Patty for her greater width in her chest floor proportional for her size and standing on heavier bone at this time in their development.
4th Place - Pricker Patch Farm Peppermint Patty - Owned by Sue Beck
Patty has the strongest top line of my top five does. She is level from her shoulders back to her hips with a correct slope to her rump. This does structure appears to be smoothly blended throughout and she is showing great width in the rear between her hocks. Greater increasing depth from her heart girth into her flank as well as slightly greater width in her chest floor would make this doe even more correct. Patty places over Constellation for her greater width in the rear between the hocks, a more correct slope to the rump as well as the greater width across the shoulders when viewed from above.
5th Place - Kikobian Kinders Constellation - Owned by Leigh Tate
Constellation places in the top five over the rest of the does remaining for her development in muscling spring of rib and body capacity. Additional width across her shoulders and in her chest floor would make this doe more correct.
The remaining does are either showing me more dairy character or are not as far along in their
development due to being at the younger end of the class.

1st Place - Serena Kinders Lira - Owned by Sue Beck
Lira is a long, deep, wide doe showing great spring of rib. She has a straight top line with a correctly sloped rump. She has good with in her chest floor and in her rear between her hocks. She has good extension of her pro sternum with development in her brisket. She is standing on strong straight
forelegs with well layed on shoulders with her elbows held tightly to her body. More width in the escutcheon and width across her shoulders when viewed from above would make this doe even more correct. She places over Peace for her overall body length with the greater spring of rib as well as a more correct slope to her rump.

2nd Place - Redstone Castle Kinders Peace - Owned by Gail Stuart
Peace is a doe has exceptional width in the chest floor as well as in the rear in both her Escutcheon and between her hocks. She is also very wide across her shoulders back to her hips. She has excellent depth at her heart girth. More increasing depth back into her barrel from her heart girth as well as a more correct slope to her rump to improve her top line and rear leg angulation would make this doe even more correct. She is standing over Rosie for her width in the chest floor, width across her shoulders when viewed from above as well as in the greater width in her escutcheon.
3rd Place - Jolly Little Kinders Cracklin' Rosie - owned by Laura Kennett
Rosie and Brook are very close in their placings. Both does are well balanced with comparable width in the chest floor and in the rear between the hocks. Their depth in the heart girth is also very comparable. Rosie is placing over Brook for slightly greater extension in her pro sternum and the slightly greater increasing depth into her barrel. Both does could be improved with greater overall body capacity and muscling. Brook is placing over Tanner for her strength in her top line in the area of her chine.
4th Place - Serena Kinders Brook - Owned by Sue Beck
(Brook's placing - see above)
5th Place - River Birch Farms Tanner - Owned by Kirsten Simons
Tanner has a clean cut balanced head with correctly set ears and a wide muzzle and nostrils. A straighter top line in the area of the chine, more width between the hocks and in the escutcheon with a more correct set to the rear legs would make this doe more correct.
